Can't believe there are people who think the graphics are 'shocking' lol.

What on earth were people expecting? look at how much more packed the world is with pedestrians and traffic compared to GTA 5... it actually looks like real life in that sense.

Pause the trailer on the scene of the dude in the buff watering the garden or on the guy doing the crotch grab and tell me this looks 'shocking'

'Looks like GTA5'... Behave, the graphics clearly look levels above GTA5.

Yeh. If the trailer is a true representation of what to expect in game, it is by far and away the most realistic, and technically impressive open world game ever.

Love the trailer, graphics are fantastic and it really looks like it should be a great game.
A lot of the nightlife stuff looks amazing.

Jeff Favignano does a nice and detailed inspection of the trailer, giving lots of notes on the accuracy of the location compared to its real world inspiration and he highlights some of the really fine details they put into the video.

Yea, played them when they were current.
Had a Playstation and N64 back in those days, then even added a Dreamcast to the mix. Had the original GTA on Playstation. Don't get me wrong, it was fun and the radio stations were something else just like the modern ones. But I just drove about running people over, I didn't complete the story or anything. It wasn't until GTA 3 that I actually got hooked on playing through a GTA story mission.

Really you 'can't believe it', can you?

I don't just kiss up to everything like a sheep?

The fact you're taking what's 99% likely to be a touched up in post, heavily edited trailer with no raw gameplay, says it all. You're just fanboying.

Its pretty simple, it looks old and dated.
I couldn't care less about the reasons why, it still looks like gta v.

Theyve had stupid amounts of income from V and ten years to develop this.

So yes it looks VERY underwelming in that regard graphically, pausing it makes it look laughably dated.

Hardware or coding limitations dont suddenly give me beer goggles and make it look better.
So it still looks dated and old visually.
I mentioned this because people are claiming it looks good graphics wise, which it doesn't...
Do you think Starfield looks next gen too due to the population/size of the environments :cry:

Im not a fanboy, i said a few pages back im only interested if they have freshened up the gameplay and mechanics... I haven't completed a single GTA game !

The fact is that GTA V does not look this good. From the trailer you can see the level of detail at long range is far superior. The lighting looks superior. Reflections in the puddle of the truck going by in the crotch grab scene look great. It's presumably going to have ray tracing etc

It looks like a sizeable improvement especially when you consider it's going to be bigger than previous games and seemingly have a higher density of npc's and traffic (barring a downgrade).

No idea what Starfield has to do with anything, never played it and don't care to and from the videos i've seen it's nothing special graphically.

It looks old and graphically unimpressive and not next gen in any sense of the word, play AW2 and then tell me this looks good graphically...
The logistics behind why it doesn't look good doesn't change the fact it still doesn't look good.
my opinion is based on what I can physically see graphics wise, which looks rubbish for something 10 years in the making with the ridiculous budget/revenue they've had, and looks pretty much like the same engine engine flooded with more data, just like how Starfield is using an old engine and still will never look next gen. That was my point.
It was based on what my eyes can see, and that's a rubber skinned character, old looking game.

There's barely ANY gameplay in it bar cutscenes/heavily edited in post scenes, and the few bits we see with an unlocked camera like the beach are full of rubber/plastic low poly looking npc's that are relying on a high texture beach to make the graphics look acceptable. That's hardly 'next gen' looking nor decent graphics, it just looks like a texture mod for GTAV on pc.
You two just sound like sheep, cause it's a viral, thus it can do nothing wrong :rolleyes::cry:
