***Grand Theft Auto VI***

The female protagonist is Latina, possibly Cuban or something. The male protagonist's looks have changed - in the leaked footage a while back the male had pale white skin, now he's got dark skin
feels like someone watched scarface and replaced tony montana with his sister

DF thinks about 80% of the trailer might be real time in game engine
This was a really good video, just finished watching it and at the end Alex makes a really valid set of points based on the facts.

1: There are around 10 million RTX 3080 class GPUs based on the Steam HW survey given we know the active userbase numbers for Steam (over 130 million).
2: The number of XBOX Series X/S consoles sold is around 20 million.

"There are arguably more RTX 3080's out there than Series X consoles, yet.... PC waits" - And that's the angering point, because you know it's Rockstar's greed for double dippers. They will quite literally make any lost money from double dippers back from the number of views revenue from trailer 1 alone at the pace it's going, so it is simply amazingly annoying that Rockstar decide that a side by side port for PC isn't being done at the same time!

The fact that there are more PC GPUs that are considerably more powerful than any number of consoles sold just proves that the PC gaming scene is immensely popular, and also immensely loyal above all else.

To make it worse, there maybe 20 million Xbox Series consoles but we know from sales numbers that more than 50% of those are Series S. I hestitate to think how this game is going to run on the Series S

So yes its a real shame there is no PC release when there are many more PC gamers with PCs more powerful than the Xbox, so by not releasing to PC Rockstar is literately forgoing sales, but they are ok with it because they believe many of these PC gamers will play the game on a PS5 and then double dip and play it again on PC 2 years later

So the hot take is that we know based on actual numbers that there are more high end GPUs actively being used today than there are consoles that can run modern games to a modern day standard. So much for GPUs being too expensive and consoles just being easier that people online seem to moan about then :D

And by the time gta6 comes out we will be on 5000 series midway into that lifecycle and we will al be talking about the 6000 series cards,

I also reckon we will even see a Steam Deck 2 released before GTA6 comes out and be as powerful as a xbox series S or PS5

As someone who has almost 2k hours in V - I'm ALL in for this one.

Also I liked the part where people said they're skipping launch for the PC release :D

The hype gonna get you. The week of release you will have 10 consoles lined up in your living room ready to game...

Guarantee you I won't :D

I like GTA games, but no way near enough to do that.

Also with the amount of disappointments I have had from hyped games, makes me a lot more patient. Even games where users here have hyped and I played and was disappointed. Not because the game is bad per se, but just not lived up to hype.

I'll probably just watch some random gameplay and be done with it.

I've tried playing some games with a controler back in the day and is better to not do it at all than mess around with a console.

Same. I’ll wait to experience the full fat version on PC

If I see a cheap second hand version for the PS5 going around I might pick that up, otherwise I'll wait for PC as well.
I mostly play on custom FiveM servers for GTA5, so will probably do the same with this one after running through the single-player story once.

It'll be interesting to see if some of the rumours are correct about it being possible to do 2-player co-op for the main game.
That might increase the amount I replay the main story if I can redo it with different friends.

Likewise too, I've got a Series X but I want my first play through to be on the PC with whatever hardware I will have at the time. Currently on a 3080, but I reckon I'll have upgraded by the time we see this.
