There’s something more than just united have bought lots of bad players going on at the club.

They're teammates, Maguire isn't responsible for teammates actions. That isn't what a captain does it's what a manager does. Players do interviews all the time when they aren't captains you lot are so weird

Or Spurs owners, or Chelsea's owners. In fact I'm pretty sure only two clubs in the league get 0 investment and only 2 clubs have owners that actually take money out of the club.
He's making the point that the money they spend is club revenue, they're not using their own wealth. It's a valid point and counters those who say because they spend money, they care.
The club have spent a lot on players (very badly and without any sort of a plan), but as I said earlier, everything else has been neglected.
How many owners actually spend their own money out of interest, bar the human rights abusing ones?
I think our lot did but that was pretty much an interest free loan for stadium improvements
