Greenlizard0 PL & FA Cup Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 22nd July 2020]

It's just so funny because of how pigeon-toed he is as well. It's like he's struggling to dribble because he doesn't know exactly where his feet are going to be pointing. :D

I think im probably on my own here but i do not get the hype with Traore. Hes an absolute unit and quick but not a lot else.

Hes like a giant Dan James

9 assists in the Prem is nothing to be sniffed at, especially when he's been played at wing back and coming off the bench a lot.

That description could have been used before this season mind, but he's certainly improved his final ball this season. Him and Jiminez have been deadly.

Is that because Jiminez is having the season of his life tho? His end product is poor for someone seemingly rated so highly.

Look at Traore's assists for him, he's been putting them on the plate for him with some super crosses. The guy is unplayable at times, left backs can't get near him.

Major concerns about De Gea though. He's on a huge contract and is simply not reliable any longer. A shame but it is what it is.

When was the last time United put someone on a huge wage that was even remotely worth it in effort and ability? They keep repeating the same mistakes by throwing ridiculous wages down the drain. He's making Pickford look good, which is quite something considering his wages. Someone needs to have the balls to bench him.

Anyone else not really sold on Maguire? I'm not sure he's much of an upgrade on Smalling, he's not as fast or agile at least... £80m...

Imagine someone spending 80m on England international CB with 40 caps Phil Jagielka, it's laughable isn't it. Especially as I'd rather of had Jagielka instead of a Maguire. I struggle to think of a bigger pants pulled down exercise than that one.

I do wonder whether De Gea is being paid to let goals in.

You know that second goal where he can't even be bothered to get his arms out looks suspicious. Then I'm reminded United are paying him more than a betting scam could anyway and he's just washed up. The slump has gone on far to long, his wages are protecting him. No ones going to touch him for half his wage.
