we're talking about the evans incident here.

as i said, evans eyes are pinned on the ball, he hasn't lost the player and made a clumsy, last gasp challenge. once again. there are milliseconds in it.

I know what incident we're talking about but thanks for making it clear anyway.

You fail to understand that Evans making a honest attempt to win the ball changes nothing. If a player trips another player it's a foul. No matter whether their eyes are pinned on the ball, whether they've not made a clumsy or last gasp challenge - if you trip a player it's still a foul.

lol

You really can't have a sensible discussion, can you? I've noticed a pattern with most of your debates - you make a comment and when it's questioned you will respond with something completely different to the original point and then end with a stupid remark like that.

not really. how much more is there to debate? you lost (get over it, try and move on) and we have different views on the matter, actually, they're not that different as you said the ref couldn't have made the call accurately. so i really don't know why you're still going on about it.

What i have learnt here is if you are the aggrieved or the one that has gotten big decisions against you just don't argue with the beneficiaries. You will never have a sensible argument because when they feel they are loosing the argument they will make stupid statements to annoy you like

Get over it you lost, and those endless bottom lines!. Just wait when they are in the same situation and also give them your piece of mind and it won't be long. I am sure if the decisions that went against us had happened to any other team no fan wouldn't complain extensively about it like many liverpool fans have done.

It doesn't even help matters when Man u is involved they are the most favored.

On the Suarez penalty: anyone who only watched MOTD2 is going to think Evans got the ball. They showed one replay and did no close up of the players' feet.

Anyone who watched Sky's post-game analysis, where they did a super zoom of the incident, will have seen that Evans actually didn't get the ball, and kicked Suarez's foot.

It's that simple.

edit: and FWIW I don't think Halsey could realistically have been expected to see it.

Sky also zoomed in on the Valencia one and showed Johnson clipping his heel as he ran in. Soft one, but again there was contact, and again they didn't really show this on MOTD

It doesn't matter which team you are a fan of what matters is which side you supported some times its even who you are arguing against. The gone Cheets was a Wigan fan but he would support anything against Man U only God knows why because wigan & Man U had no connection.

I think cm1179 targets a few fans here not necessarily the team which lost. Like i wouldn't get surprised if The Running Man came in and joined the Liverpool fans in crying foul just to make sure he is not on the same side of the argument with Tom84.

So next week when Spurs meet Man U if similar incidence happen don't get surprised if some liverpool fans support man U just to make a point to cm1179.

That's why i said there is no point in arguing when your are the aggrieved because very few are interested in logical reasoning.

Because logically no one can't see Suarez's dive/soft touch/ penalty what ever you want to call it was equally a confusing situation with Valencia's dive/tackle /push in the back/touch on the back heel etc.
All the two were controversial moments and it was down to favor or call it reputation. Its easy to ignore Suarez than Valancia if you are a ref and all of us know clearly why

As much as I dislike spurs and cm I'll be supporting them next week to the hilt. Mind you they always lie down for the mancs

PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT THE PENALTIES

You really have some nerves!. Spurs will make you run crazy! if made it easy for Man U to get the 3 points by our poor finishing Spurs will do it with stupid own Goals. I can't stand the pain of supporting Spurs against Man U.

They usually disappoint badly may be lets hope AVB will change this.
