Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th - 27th August 2017]

I can't decide which of Ramsey or Koscielny is the most overrated player in the world. Ramsey's living off a 4-5 month period a few years ago when he scored a few goals and Koscielny gets hyped up as being a top CB but is average at best - if he played for Liverpool he'd getting hammered as much as all our CB's do.

Just had a look at our stats for the Liverpool game and not one single shot on target, nada, zilch

That clip of Ramsey with his back to play for the first goal was horrifying.

Klopp's supposedly said in his press-conference that Mignolet will be back for the City game. So it was just a case of resting him?

Sky Sport going to town on Arsenal, Disgrace & Cowards

Meh everyone is going to town on Arsenal but makes me laugh all this ripping.

Did no one see this coming?? This has been in the pipeline for some time now. Last year was the start of our demise and it will continue for the next few yrs if **** doesn't get fixed soon.

Blame is squarely at the board and Wengers feet as far as I'm concerned.

Wenger says supposedly "something is going on behind the scenes".

Must be bad. My guess is it's the Sanchez situation.

Sell him. We only want players who want to play for the club.
I'm almost certain that Sanchez would stay if we showed some proper fight and actually challenged for the title, instead of pretending to challenge for the title.

But he wants to go, body language says it all. Sell him and Ox as it's evident they don't want to play for us. Throw in Ozil as well, we obviously don't play to his style.

Is the problem Wenger? The issue is nothing has changed and it's been the same excuses from Wenger for at least a decade.

It's time to go mate. We love you but it's simply time to go.

that's the problem you do. He's a player branded a coward by Mourinho and then sold by Ancelotti for having no guts to compete. Wenger and arsenal are perfect for him to just sit back and do nothing in every big game and never get criticised or yelled at. He's probably my most hated player. His problem is basically that he has no back bone, he could be so good if he actually man'd up and grew a pair

Gary Neville was like a pig in **** during the match, I think his best line was when he said "the only positive they (Arsenal) can take out of this is that there's still 6 days left in the transfer windows to get rid of as many of these players as they can." :D

We have so many players who think they are great because they play for Arsenal, fact is most are overrated and over paid, Arsenal need a huge clear out, its also not helped by having 2-3 players in the team that don't seem interested in playing for us, Sanchez, just sell him now as well as Ozil and the overrated Ox.
It's really sad seeing Arsenal in this state.

But there is no time left to sign replacements now.

I know which makes it worse, such poor management at this club.

Sanchez should have been sold earlier in the Summer as well as Ozil if both were not interested in signing for us, we could have then got good replacements.

Now looks like we are stuck with a team full of uninterested players with there minds on a move elsewhere, what help is that to the team

Which I think he is absolutely right and I would imagine majority of Arsenal fans feel the same.

The ones who want Wenger to stay are deluded. He has no clue on formation, has absolutely no clue on which players we need and leaves everything transfer wise to the very last minute. By then players we want cost an arm and leg to buy, so again we end up average players that don't perform aaaannnnddd we end up again in this exact scenario the following year. It's a vicious cycle which the board and Wenger are happy to continue.

3 games in and it's all the rage to sack the manager again. 35 games & the Europa league still to go..crazy crazy times. Absolute joke, just shows how ignorant a lot of fans are

What if Arsenal finished 8th and won the Europa League?
