Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [31st March - 5th April 2017]

Rashford has been found out. He needs to either go on loan or be sold. To not score a Premier League goal since September at a club like Manchester United is terrible.

Pretty much as bad as we were under LvG now, no idea how to attack at all. Rashford and Lingard have both been utter crap, Ibra has had zero support, Fellaini is just MIA. Maybe bring Mkhitaryan and Martial on and stop playing 'throw darts at the dartboard' with your starting XI Jose.

Mourinho just a younger stubborn version of LVG

And yet he'll probably have another dig at Shaw shortly after.

Watford beating West Brom 2-0 at home.....a touch too difficult for United.

Pogba coming on? Hope he isn't being rushed back. Blind off. or maybe Pogba is now ahead of Shaw at left back :p

No idea what formation we're playing now.

Young as part of a back three? God that's a disaster waiting to happen

or is Herrera playing left back? :/ Good sign when you can't even work out what formation we're playing

I mean it's worth pointing out that LVG last season had 12 wins 5 draws and 1 loss at home. Mourinho's current record is 6 wins 8 draws and 1 loss. Regardless of what Mourinho does now his home record will be basically a disaster compared to last season and this is after dropping Rooney, buying Ibra who has been fantastic, getting Micky who he basically refused to use for a few months.

In my opinion LVG was forced to play Rooney while I think Mourinho was told he has to start Rooney for a while but only if it's not working after a couple of months will they back him dropping him. Or in other words, LVG had to carry a dead weight on the pitch, Mourinho hasn't had to as much.

While Utd currently have more points, with this loss it will be 6 points ahead of last year, that is both 6 points ahead of an LVG who was fired for not being good enough and Utd have had an absurd run of games. Jan to now has been the easiest run of just about any team could have, conversely the run in to the end is one of the very worst.

I said when Arsenal were only 7-8 points behind CHelsea that is was after a run of easy games but our top 6 record was dire and once the games even up we'll almost certainly be much further back, Utd are in the same situation now, they've beaten a bunch of out of form or flat out rubbish sides while having games against Southampton and City postponed.

They are already losing to Everton, they have CHelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, City and Southampton that is extremely top 8 heavy. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Utd end up with the same/lower points than last year at this point.

Im guessing the ref was expecting him to give the ball back.

Bit of a knob move to just crack on, i'm glad someone smashed him.

"couldn't get his geography right"

Or hand eye coordination, balance, composure, skill and most basic skills.

Edit - that one header just now doesn't make up for all of the rest :p

Edit - hhhmm I hope he's not brining Shaw on as a scapegoat.
