We could talk about how everyone thought that Newcastle had imploded when they released Joey Barton and made some other decisions, and now they have infact fared very well this season.
Alternatively, there is always the question, will Shefqi Kuqi score this weekend? Having played for 9 clubs since 2007 (including loans) this guy really can be called a journeyman of the sport but seems to have found some basic form at boundry park, scoring 7 in 11 league games!
Is Kuqi the answer to the hole that Chris Porter left when he headed to the even more northern climate of Motherwell?

Having trouble picking the team for today lol Goes to show Newcastle have a decent squad. depends if he wants to keep it tight who starts. Not sure if Tiote is fit.
Really want to see Santon. He can play as a RB/LB or winger.

Well i want us to destroy Swansea and get a few goals past them but these are the sort of games we struggle with, So i dont care if its a nervy 1-0 win long as we win.

Villa fan so ive seen more of Downing than you for a lot longer than you. to put it simply, hes not very good. At our club he was overshadowed by Young, he put in some decent performances in his last season but nothing like A.Young did for 07/08 and 08/09.
Downing is slow, not very creative and for a free-kick taker terrible, don't think he scored one free-kick for us in his two seasons with us(maybe one?)

Newcastle look such a good team under Pardew at the moment, pressing to win the ball back superbly and when they go forward they look really dangerous.
