Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 13th April 2016]

Guaranteed Champions League football next season. By that I mean we can't finish lower than fourth.

I know that in itself is a brilliant achievement but surely now if you don't win the league the season will be a disappointment? Sounds silly I know but no one remembers anything other than 1st place.

Just back from White Hart Lane. Brilliant result, brilliant atmosphere. Thought it was heading towards 0-0 as Smalling was magnificent against Kane and you can always count on De Gea.

All of the huffing and puffing came good though. Happy 20th birthday, Deli. :)

Leicester have a much tougher run in than Spurs. Just ran through a predictor and I had Spurs winning the league by a point... surely not

I think I was harsh on Leicester with some of the results, it goes to show though that even now, I'm still putting them down even though I'd love to see them win it!

I can see a draw vs West Ham but a win vs Swansea. The others are so, so. I can't see them beating Man U or Chelsea, I think nerves will definitely kick in if they haven't already.

that was marvellous. left to go and meet my family for a meal and we scored 3 goals during my journey there

we are a very good side. utd are not.

I can see them beating Man Utd easily.

:(

It would be absolutely amazing if Spurs were to win the league but I can't see it happening :(

I think if a team is half an hour late for a game then all of their players should start on a yellow card for time wasting.

As much as it pains me to say it, Tottenham are leagues ahead of us at the moment, not just in points terms. The way they setup for the games, the tactics, they are all superior to what I've seen recently at Arsenal. I can't see us catching them for 2nd.

We're out of the race (and have been for a few weeks), hope Leicester do it for the "Roy of the Rovers feels".

spurs aren't of this title race. just need to leicester to buckle. we've got the fitter squad, united burnt out after a ferocious start, we stepped it up a gear.

Leicester fan, was hoping utd would do us a favour today! Can't complain though, still 7 points clear and CL secured ! :D

Spurs do have an easier run-in, but I do hope Leicester can keep it up.

The next two home games are critical.
