Anyway at Fornow's screenshots, those GPU-Z stats looks very very wrong, only the clock speed, device id etc. are correct but the rest aren't.
I distinctly remember seeing a 7950GX2 or several sell for more than a 8800GTX. And I don't remember seeing any go for £200 at launch. But in the end I decided to get neither so it's not like I was looking around for a long time...
