GTA4 - Will it be appearing on pc?

Hope it does make it to the PC as just been playing the PS3 version and the lack of AA is really bad and has so far affected my gameplay enjoyment as on a 40" HTDV very noticeable and even causes eyestrain as you struggle to make something out as your eye wanders around the scene trying to figure out if it is the lack of AA causing it.
 
I doubt that it wouldnt come out on PC, after all they have released stuff on steam, they probly see it as very feasable platform for release, lets face it they have some massive power so could quite easily say no retail release for PC gamers couldnt they, piracy with PC GTA games has always been a problem really, but a big factor in this was probably that there was no official multiplayer part of the game, and you could play online with pirated copies.. Im sure taketwo wouldnt be too bothered if the game was released on steam aslong as they took a cut of the profits too, then the piracy issue would be solved and its a decent platform for rolling out patches etc, is quite comparable to live etc etc.
 
I hope so! I've been trying to play it on my 24" 1080p monitor and it looks terrible scaled! Looks like a PS2 game. I imagine it would look brilliant at a decent resolution

Sorry it looks real bad. I have a 720P native 40" HDTV and GTA4 looks like a PS2 game in many places. Very low res textures are used for most of the gfx on the PS3. It has horrible fuzzy DOF filters to mask the lack of AA (which is still very evident). This game is just screaming out for a decent high res + AA PC version so you can experience it without having to ignore the graphical issues (lots of minor shadow glitches as well). Very surprising most reviews choose to totally ignore these factors:(

Yeah, little surprised at how low res it looks, still nice looking, but its gagging for some PC love, id hate to see it never truely shining :( LOVE THE GAME THOUGH, its amazing.
 
Lol I'd just grab the cheapest 360 myself, for 150€ used or something.
not really interested in any other console rubbish most games are **** :(.
Some are playable ( eg. burnout series, PGR, Gran tursimo, halo3) but definitely not worth 59 €.
 
I just played it at a friends house. I absolutely could not play it on 360. It looked a lower res than 720p (is it upscaled from 6** like COD4?), it really very badly needed tons of AA, the weird blur filters weren't very nice, the shadows were so grainy and glitchy I was getting pretty distracted and there were frame rate and pop-in issues as per. This game is screaming out for a PC release.
 
Screw 360, i've got the money to buy a manly PS3 on the weekend so i might just do that.

I've got mates who have owned both consoles and they prefer the PS3.

I'm not waiting 6-7 months for a PC release, i just CANT!
