I believe the new version in development will.
RealityIV v2 1.62 works well with later patches. Not as good looking as the iCE mod, but still a big improvement over the stock GTA look :

Works with EFLC & BOGT as well.
I'd also grab Generic Mod Enabler, as it'll make switching between different gfx mods much easier.
Can be forced using SuperSampling in ENB Series mod. It's not ideal and has a significant impact on performance. The engine itself doesn't support AA natively.
Honestly is there any need for that sort of tone? Some people had reported a way for it to work on steam and i was waiting on that.
Not at all, sorry about that. Just getting a little peeved when people don't read at least a few previous posts in the thread they reply to.
Reality IV is used in the iCE mod along with ENB 0.82 that is somewhat buggy. Modders could probably strip it down and eliminate shaders that don't work with 1.0.7 that well and that would eliminate graphical glitches but would also lower quality of the mod.

I dont have steam games installed/downloaded at the moment to check this but from what i remember dont you just install the 1.0.4.0 patch then run the game from the LaunchGTAIV/LaunchEFLC.exe in the main dir with steam closed.

Be careful.
No one is responsible if you have any hardware problems.
Just try to avoid overheating using a better fan.
If you results some artefacts , bugs , everything going all blue , and massive slowdown for
no reasons.
Stop playing.

My temps didnt seem any different after 30mins on it. I quite like the mod too, compared to the others anyway. They never look right all the time but this one does pretty well and with some nice new lighting. It definately needs the 1040 patch too. Does anyone know how to use the trainers on the old patches?
These screens are with no other visual mods as you walk out the door at the start of the game. These things always look better in the screenshots tho

The folder I'm operating inside is:
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV
version number = find the GTAIV.exe, right click and choose DETAILS tab
If you're worried about ruining your original files then just copy the game directory to another folder. Simple.
Give it a try even if you don't have version 1.0.4.0. Unfortunately my steam copy is patched right up beyond that, I still tried it and it still looks good.
The only issue, as stated, is the abnormally high brightness in some spots and the sky turns red often. That's it, otherwise the quality is impecable and in such high detail. I'm talking individual bricks on all the walls.
In all honesty I'm completely happy with it, since this is my first time playing I know it looks so much better than vanilla so it's a huge boost over what I'd originally get.
It's tough on the VGA though, I'm hitting temps of 95 degrees even with my fan at 95%. No more than BC2.

willhub, GTA IV and EFLC worked fine on my 5850 and responded well to overclocking.
I've got more problems with the 6950 tbf.
Yeah it runs smooth at 1920x1080 all maxed no mods but it's still using hardly any GPU must be a way to make it use more. The mod lags it like mad.
What patch are you on? Steam 1.0.7?
