Matt are you having any issues in regards to fps drops and stutter? i'm getting loads of issues.
Seems to be on the game side rather than AMD Drivers though.
who needs FuryX or watercooling to keep temps silly cool, 390 crossfire making mince meat of GTA V at 1440p with all settings maxed out (apart from grass) whilst keeping pretty damn cool for me, all be it a big difference between top and bottom but thats down to my motherboard PCIe spacing. Playing this on Freesync is indeed massively impressive Matt.
GTA V looks lovely at 4K.
2x Fury X Stock
4K Ultra Settings
FreeSync enabled 59FPS locked
Does anyone else prefer the look of sharp shadows to everything else? I think they look better, perhaps less realistic, than all the other Rockstar options.
That looks lovely matt , any daytime shots ?
Awesome temps and quiet as a mouse
That is pretty bad loadsofmoney!
My MSI GE 290 in GTA 5
- average temp is about 66 with an average fan speed of 45%
- max temp is 73 with a max fan speed of 50%
Now that is with the core voltage set to -37 but still even at the default (which for me is +25) it shouldn't be hitting as high as what you are seeeing....
I haven't touched my fan profile stuff.
I use overdrive to manage my fan speeds and set the target temp for 57C for two gpu's and 52C for four gpu's. Results in lower fan speeds overall i find, but sometimes you get 10-15 seconds of core clock fluctuations whilst powertune does the maths and calculates the bare minimum fan speed needed to maintain the target temperature at the clocks set, depending on the current gpu usage load.
When you have four gpu's working the load is reduced which can actually mean you need less fan speed than if you have less gpu's present.
Still I don't think you should be hitting that high especially with that fan speed, my case is pretty crap for airflow too (antec p100)

Just upgraded to Win10 and my smooth 60fps GTAV has become unplayable with SLI. Runs at 60fps, then stutters and hits very bad fps for a while. I've had to disable SLI and drop the quality down
Any workarounds for Win10 SLI?
