GTX 780 Owners Club

Get EVGA Precision X / MSI Afterburner.

Increase the core speed, say +100 and run a benchmark with it... If it crashes out, decrease by 10mhz and try again, if it doesn't crash, up by 10Mhz. Just push the card to it's limits until it crashes, then drop back down a touch. It's as simple as that! (Same with the memory also)

Keep an eye on temperatures etc, but don't worry about frying your card - it won't happen.

Would Heaven 4.0 suffice?

Just looking at some 780 reviews whilst waiting for my card to arrive !

Thought this was a good summary :D

"If you want the best single GPU performance out there today, this really is top dog bar none. Titan is an option if you’re a mentalist, but offers very little extra for very silly money."

I did buy a Titan :o Came to my senses though :D

If you don't need all the power of a Titan then the 780 is the next best thing. Enjoy :)

Lovely cooler, just like the Titan..

Anyway I ripped that off. Kuhler mod. 25c idle and 46c load. May drop a bit more when thermal paste has some more time to settle.

Run some benchies in a bit. All good so far..

Clocks for gaming below, what a monster. Check out the pixel / texture fillrate .

Nvidia aren't advertising this thing enough imho. This is a massive step up from a 680. If you can get one at a good price, it is well worth it. It's like Titan performance without the shame or guilt over the price :p.

I've still got my eye on one of these....

EVGA SC or Gigabyte Windforce me thinks.....

If you were me which would you pick?
