GTX 780 Owners Club

You'll get less of a bottleneck at higher res as the cards are working harder.

When you move to haswell go for the ocuk extreme 4.6+ bundle, the chips are delidded with liquid pro and speed binned with a 2 year warranty ;)

Got mine sitting happy at 5ghz, load temps in the high 60's.

Do OC de lid the chips ? I thought they were just binned ones...

I know each card is different, but what sort of overclock do you guys think i should get or be aiming for on this card then? :)

B1 revision is supposed to be the latest and that used for the Ghz Edition cards too. It is also supposed to have replaced the A1 from Sept onwards in the manufacturing process.
It will be interesting to see which cards have it as standard and if they overclock any higher.

Got my Msi gaming 780 today
So, so, so, so quiet its unbelievable

Played b4 on all ultra @1080p was averaging 97fps.. Not sure if thats good or not but looks and played brilliantly..
Really enjoying my venture into pc gaming after being a console gamer for 24years

I installed one of those in my friend's PC the other day, they really are amazingly quiet.

Well I got my Gigbyte winforce 780. Man the thing is a beast. It was running BF4 on Ultra with no AA at 80fps on Domination. On conquest large it varies from 60-80 fps. The fans are fairly quiet but from what you guys say maybe I should have got the MSI gaming (they are now the same price).

Also I may be worth mentioning but I was crashing loads with my 7950 and latest drivers, now with the 780 it has yet to crash !

Hmmm, having a bit of an issue with my 780 today.

When benching with heaven, the card wont go to max clock, it'll just underclock itself, regardless of temperature.

For example, stock clock is 950ish and if I set it to 1100 in AB, then apply and run heaven, or furmark, the card will fluxuate rapidly between 500mhz and 900mhz core.

Can't figure out what is causing it, the temperature is below 60c.

Doing it on the Tomb Raider benchmark too, just wont hit the higher core mhz. :/

Little bit over the top with all these different "Ti" versions, What's next ? 780 Ti GHZ Boost Superclock Black Edition ? lol
I'll stick to 780 SLI until maybe the 2nd iteration of maxwell.
