GTX 780 Owners Club

My 780 working normal again today. I think I upset it yesterday evening ^^

But jesus holy christ that black 780Ti looks pure sex.

How does the new card clock? It's a classified, right?

Nope it's a reference EVGA 780. Although just noticed the replacement is a Superclocked Version.

Just a quick play and it seems happy with 1150 on the core so far. Will play more later but tbh just happy it's working at the moment.

MSI card arrived, what a fantastic bit of kit, so quiet.

Running +170 on the core and +300 on the memory straight from the box, BF4 in Ultra is smooth as anything

BE is going to be a tad pointless imo (if its existence is true). Take regular and probably cheaper ti and flash it with be bios - problem solved.

Pick myself up the EVGA 780 ACX SC yesterday

My previous card was the 580 and man i'm loving this beast being in the machine!

Anybody know if a Corsair AX 860 would be good enough for an SLI setup with 780s? (Gainward Phantom GLH specifically).

Rig is running an overclocked i5-2500k @ 4.5 too (1.3v)

well the 6 to 8pin PCIe cables did'nt do the job so ive ordered a seasonic based Coolermaster V1000 PSU to replace my Current XFX Core edition pro 850w which can't power the cards in SLI it seems

cheers m8e :)

Just debating picking up a B stock z77 mobo to use with my i5-2500k, i know it will bottlekneck in sli, but new processors are quite expensive compared to performance increase with a second 780

I use a [email protected] and every little bit more I overclock my 780s the fps go up in the games and benchmarks so I don't think my cpu is holding back my 780s and your 2500k @4.5 would be just as quick as my cpu.
