Not much has changed really. LA is dead right now after Scarlet raided it. Im sure it will soon start to be rebuilt. 15th patch is a huge updating bring in a lot of great changes.

In theory a good idea, one single server is what all MMO's should strive for. BE interesting to see hwo they tackle the porblems that come with a megasefrver though.
I think more info about how they will be implementing WvWvW is needed though, so on the fence at the moment I am
Edit: I was about to drop some cash on a server move, but I think I'll hold off until more about this is revealed..

I'm starting to play GW2 today and not sure which profession to go with. I'm torn between:

I love my Ele, she is fit and can control the field with her elemental skills. All the other classes i found particualry boring to be honest. I run with Sceptor main hand and Dagger off hand. Is a blast, even though she is a glass cannon, with lava font shes so op.

I've just started this as well as playing Never Winter and what is with the control getup? It's awful compared to NW! Can you change it as I've not really found much to allow you that much customisation!

Nope. Might be because work goes through a US proxy, will try when I get home.
There isn't much customisation with the controls unfortunately.
Best you can do is select targeting and ground cast options in the menu, then rebind stuff where you want it.
Or you can use one of the combat mode mods - I have used this successfully in pvp, wvw and duelling, albeit with a very weird and modified targeting setup.
