Guild Wars 2

I have no slow down anywhere at any time... Apart from southsun, anywhere in that zone just melts my PC for no reason even when it's empty. Luckily I'm hardly ever there but the Queen is brutal!
 
Over heat problem solved!!! im back with a passion and on full settings!! Woop!!!

Turning high res character textures seem to help a bit but can't tell if it makes much of a visual difference

best thing in populated areas is to turn down the model limitim running on 4.2 on my 4790K and that seems to do it

Anyone interested in doing some fractals at some stage?

I did a few yesterday for the first time, it took me ages to get a group. Finally get 4 people like me, clueless :) It was good fun but none of us knew what the hell was happening.

could do but they cost money/ gems to do. May need to wait for a month or 2 before I can join you
 
I'll do some with you as I need to get 10 fractal relics for the ascended trinket.

I really, really hate them though and I'm prett limited in my knowledge but I'm sure we can find more to tag along.

I'm away with work and when home on good husband duty but could do sunday evening if you want?

Fractals are free, just a portal from lions arch over to the right. Some are really damn hard though. It's basically fancier dungeons which scale in difficulty from 1-50 :p

I've done a couple of them, only the ones from 1-10 mind, just don't join a group of experienced people and/or make sure you make them aware that you're new to it before you jump in.

since its free count me in, ill take my engineer, do you get good loot?
 
Nothing special, but clear 10 fractal runs (each run is made up of 4 mini dungeons) and you get a relic per clear to buy an ascended trinket which is a nice upgrade.

They are pretty hardcore as bios says mind, they are blinking challenging dungeons, I done a full clear on Sunday and we were a pretty decent group but it took us nigh on 3 hours.

im in, mind after what you say its best we do on friday/ saturday, talk to me on guild chat when you plan on doing it and i will reply yay or neigh

At the lower levels you don't get much good.

Past level 10 you start to get Pristine Relics which you can use to buy various Ascended rings.

Normal relics can be used to make a Fractal capacitor (ascended back piece). Prototype Fractal Capacitor which can be upgraded into Beta Fractal Capacitor and finally a rather fancy version Fractal Capacitor .

You also have a chance of receiving Ascended Rings and Fractal Weapons in the final boss end chest.

At very high levels you have a chance of getting the Fractal Tonic, which is a very very rare drop.

Also I have a guild that may be willing to assist with triple trouble, was thinking of asking Ramstein aswell as they are huge and we could get that organised Teamspeak Boss run done I have ben itching to try
 
Wasn't expecting so much interest :) I am playing in basketball finals all this weekend, so I can't make it at all.

But with the season over this weekend, I will be free most evenings next week. So if the guild is organising something just count me in!!

excellent just pop your head up on guild chat and say hi, we will fit you in when we can :) thats if we ever manage to get a full group
 
Triple trouble is a blinking nightmare, I haven't seen it succeeded once since plating GW2 to the extent I have completely given up even trying.

Tequatl was a nightmare last weekend for some reason too, the 5 times I tried it they all failed horribly, not sure what was going wrong but it just fell apart every time.
