This game sounds cool but I'm holding off a few more patches and the "newness" craze dies down before seeing if it is worth buying in it for sure. They definitely need ot get zombies working properly!

So..... Playing earlier and I enter a big Walmart type of building and there are 2 people in there, I approach cautiously and they say hi and seem to be friendly at first chatting about the loot they have found and stuff, then all of a sudden one of them pulls an axe and says "OK I'm gonna have to ask you to leave" in an a thick American accent, he sounded a bit weird tbh. I have plenty of loot on me but I also have a shotgun which I haven't revealed yet. So I just stand there for the Lols and he repeats himself and starts walking towards me so I pull my gun and point it at him and he starts backing up saying no no I was only joking we will leave now don't shoot haha, so yes this game does have potential, it gets really interesting once you get plenty of loot start to value your life more.

I was looking forward to it but the recent revelation that you'd be able to purchase loot for real money was a large nail in the coffin for me, especially after the developers were adamant that it would have zero P2W elements.

Two more of my clan members have got a refund, one is considering it and I may well do as well. I got this to play with my friends but if they are annoyed about the airdrops/pay to win and how the game is actually in a worse alpha state than the videos, I'm not surprised.
How could they go from mass hordes, deadly zombies in one week, to this? PR BS trailers I guess, yes I know it's early access, but they've actually gone back in development
Oh well, I'll think about it when it's free or maybe more advanced for ££

Guys check you settings in game.. I have seen reports saying Ultra isn't really Ultra and I think they might be correct..

pay to win......nope its far from pay to win
the air drops just dont have enough of a impact.
i have used 2 of them so far (already had them although i didnt buy special edition??)
The first one i got beaten to death by a couple of guys. the 2nd one i got had wheat and fertilizer in it. Sure there are ones with better stuff. but it doesnt make you god.

I said this in a previous post but all the outcry that it's pay2win. What do you actually win at? It's a sandbox...
Also from the looks of it the drops don't seem to be the easiest thing to collect and it brings a bit of carnage to the proceedings.
I'm amazed with all the fuss it's received.

Fully agree, got my refund as well. Will give it another go when it's free. I never knew the airdrops would have a chance to spawn weapons which imo is ridiculous and everyone mainly shoots on sight.
And everything else is just a ugly version of DayZ it does nothing different.

Some are probs DayZ fanbois, others are people who thought it would be f2p right away. The steam forums were jammed packed with new threads almost every 10 seconds for hours when it was released with so much crying that it was not f2p right now.
I guess most just jumped on the p2w bandwagon out of rage

Had some good experiences so far, not everyone has been KOS which is nice.
Still quite a few bugs though which need to be ironed out.
Really enjoying the crafting side of things, much better than any other game i've played.

Time of posting it has 10k more players then DayZ SA so it cant be that bad can it. Doubt it will stay like that but the amount of players tells you the game is good.
DayZ has a very strong following as well. Not doing a vs post just trying to show the sheer amount of people who are playing it clearly think it is worth playing.

Sever far more stable after 2 days dayz cant even manage that now half the time. I dislike running for over 3 hours and finding 2 items, while I don't want a loot everywhere got very board and quit for tonight
