The only fact is meat is murder,
/pedant mode on
That really isn't a "fact" as murder is the unlawful killing of a human being.
/pedant mode off
Sorry. Had to be said.

Those non-meat eating ********!Its as discriminatory as a vegetarian restaurant not selling meat.
If that is the case, then I would not support the continued use of halal or kosher slaughter methods. I don't think there should be a special dispensation in these cases, and that religious practises should be subject to as much scrutiny and regulation as anything else.Halal and Kosher are given special exemptions with regards to what is considered humane slaughter methods in the UK.
Can't comment about your friends most people do lookor using toothpaste that contains a non halal extract as an ingredient.
, bit of trivia for you;Hate to break it to you but Fillet'o'Fish burgers aren't Halal as McDonalds prepare bacon and sausage on premises.
...i dont know if they allow the fish to come into contact with pork products...i imagine they dont. The delicious burger that is under threat in the UK:

Halal isn't just for meat based foods but also covers every food and manufactured prodct ever and this is why I think it's sometimes hilariously hypocritical when even people I know demand something be halal yet they'll be there first thing in the morning spraying on Lynx that contains Alcohol denat or using toothpaste that contains a non halal extract as an ingredient.
My view is simple. I eat Halal meats (main meals etc) but won't eat Pork, Beef etc (the obvious non-halal stuff) but I'm not going to question small things like the ingredient of my aftershave or the oil my chips are fried in at BK which a lot of people seem to faff about or the E numbers on my sweet packets or the chicken drum sticks I get from the Sainsburys take-out section.
All major religions offer countless means of being forgiven for your sins whether they were committed knowingly or not. How else would priests who bugger boys go to heaven eh![]()
...growing up in Canada i used to go out with my dad to the slaughter house...buy a cow then kill it via the halaal way..same with chickens and lambs...and yes i did actually partake in the cutting of the throat of the cow, chicken or lamb and it never bothered me in the slightest....even my brother in Canada does the same thing that my dad used to do...,mmmm halaal ribeye, sirloin and filet mignon steaks for the absolute win \o/

I'd guess the guy with the knife doesn't always get the jugular in one go either, and maybe it isn't always as sharp as it should be either.
...ive always noticed the fella thats doing the slitting always sharpens his knife before cutting the throat. But perhaps some dont really take that much care to ease the suffering caused by slitting the throat...i imagine a dull blade isnt going to make things easy but i would hope they would at least sharpen the blade before slitting the throat.LOL LOL LOL...halal meat isnt any more inhumane than normal non muslim methods of slaughtering an animal.

how old are you?? 10??...i dont agree with stunning the animal before they are killed..that in itself causes a fair amount of grief...whereas the halaal method imo is much more humane.Ah yes I know there's halal beef, When I visit friends and family in London we go buy halal burgers, donor kebabs and so on.
So tasty!
There's a Ken';s Fried Chicken here in Fareham now so I think a visit is in order as I'm hungry!
lol...but yes i do love my halaal beef burgers although not easy to track down here in london...and even when you do they are not that nice

I really couldn't care less what way my meat is killed.
I just read on wiki that blood is against halal. Surely its not possible to completely drain an animal of blood; therefore they are committing a sin everytime they eat meat as it will still have traces of blood inside it?
No, just bacon. They've just stopped selling bacon. Don't know why you had to use the word ban. Secondly, why is it wrong? Must they sell all type of meat all of a sudden?

Looks like halal-only fast food outlets are here in the UK now![]()
