I get exactly the same thing, only just noticed it?? I had red interference flickering across the screen until I removed the cable after playing BF2 just now, and I got a blank screen when I exited from Pacific fighters until I removed and reinserted. Surely a faulty DVI port?

PS what video card have you got?? Mine a 9600 Pro.

Further to this, I've upgraded to ther latest catalyst drivers and the problem has disappeared so far.

I do have the latest Omega drivers, based on the Cat 6.7's. The reason I don't use the normal cats is because I have a problem with them too. Clicking 'advanced' in display settings crashes my computer.

For now, I'm considering just using the vga cable again. I didn't really notice any difference in quality between them.

I bought mine this morning :) Been thinking about it for weeks, got paid today and dived in, was really happy to see its on this week only, as it made me feel less bad about paying £18 for next day saturday delivery. I know theres plenty of the day left but I'm starting to get a bit edgy as its not been dispatched yet, but surely if it wasnt dispatched today I'd get some sort of postage refund, but tbh I'm more worried about being stuck on a fuzzy 15" crt until tuesday :p

Sorry to hear that Jack, I prob wont be able to sleep tonight worrying about mine :/

You know as much as I'm worried about them, I dont think I've ever seen a dead pixel... does anyone have a pic so I can see just how noticeable they are?

One in the black (same one i had seen) and other in the black flickering

Edit: second one has died now.

EDIT again: After reading a bit i aint got any dead pixels, they are stuck pixels as they are still displaying a colour, just not the right one. Going to try this JSscreenfix to get them back. Either way im happy with it, looks great and im loving the desk space after getting rid of my CRT

5 hours! Surely they cant make you work for such a long period of time that you only get 5 hours sleep!

Ive only got one game that doesnt support widescreen, and thats the sims. Which is not the best example to show you.

But here is a stretched sims, imo perfectly playable.

The Sims works in widescreen res you know. Check out the widescreengaming forums for the fix.

Yeah but its a full time job combined with setting up my own business :p

I got my monitor this morning! Very happy so far, I've got one dead pixel and two stuck, just gonna try and see if i can free the stuck ones, but even if I cant they're arent going to cause too much trouble, very happy with this one! :)

Im not too sure, this is the first time I've ever seen a dead/stuck pixel, and in my opinion they are nowhere near as bad as I expected, altho I think Im lucky as they are not in the middle of the screen and wont really get in the way at all.

I think Im going to get myself one of these on Monday :) Just a few more questions to put my mind at ease.

I will be using this monitor primarily for gaming. Can it be confirmed that this monitor is sound for gaming? In particularly, DoD Source...

Also, it seems of few of you have recieved DVI-D cables with this and some of you have not... Whats the deal here?

But, my first question is the biggy. I want this monitor to be ace for gaming! :D

you cant get stuck pixels on a CRT m8.

As for gaming on it I can notice the delay compaired to my old CRT alltho only in css and its more a general feeling than something I can see. Is there a way of putting the refreash rate up to 75 instead of 60 Hz?

I aint running on a DVI cable yet, not sure if that will help.
