I think you need to define what you mean by a 'proper' sex robot as sex robots in general already exist?

I think you miss his point. You only seem to care if it affects you directly, which is showing a lack of compassion and social responsibility.
Unemployment affects us all. I work in logistics, sex robots won't steal my job. But if they steal the jobs of prostitutes, they can't buy the stuff I'm transporting.
Even asside from economics there is a social responsibility angle. Should I not care about cruelty to animals because im not a dolphin?

Probably replicant, yes, although I guess they'll be popular (if they're not banned) before they get even close to full replication.

I think we're several decades away from getting something like this, and i would only consider getting one if i was all lone again and the tech was similar to the above. Even through some Japanese tech companies have tried something similar it's just some jerky head movements at they talk. I think we're about 70-80 years away at least!
