Hot damn, I bought a samsung f3 1tb back in July for 38 quid now it's 70!
Bought mine for the same price around that time. I wouldn't pay £70 for one.

Who knows, given another month or two of low stocks and panic buying, I could be the proud owner of a FREE GPU!![]()
Less than a month ago, when I was about to get a MSI 6870 Hawk for ~£150, I spotted a deal - the Hawk + WD20EARX (2TB Caviar Green Sata III) for £185 - a saving of about £20. (I know that a GPU + HDD is a strange mix, but they were both exactly what I wanted to complete my Z68/2500K system). As the HDD alone was around £55-60 this effectively priced the Hawk at £125-130, which is a cracking price for such an outstanding card.
Now, about 4 weeks later, the HDD is ~£90, making the Hawk <£100, what a bargain!

Infact we now have suppliers warning us that our pricing is now below the price they are selling into distribution and other traders.
Next week were gonna see new highs for sure.
Blimey, I didn't realise the water level had gone that high. No wonder the clean up is going to take so long![]()
Just wait and see how the big manufacturers use it as an excuse to up prices across the board and not just on hard drives , with a major recession and a huge increase in rare earths /minerals/metals in world markets they are all looking to up prices just to keep their margins even. It looks quite grim for techy buyers.
