Harry and Meghan to resign

They are poor little rich kids dismissing their grandmothers (and in-laws) proudest achievement, the commonwealth, an organisation of equals, calling it colonialism. Citing this country as racist and choosing to live in the USA. I hope that they do enjoy their Montecito enclave and the security of his adopted home as they did not feel secure enough to visit in the UK without a free police security detail. The constant sunshine may sooth the hurts. As I have said before he is doomed to repeat the fate of the Duke of Windoor (Edward VIII). A flash of fame and notoriety, some dodgy affiliations and hangers on, finally obscurity in a nice enough suburb somewhere out of the limelight. Enjoy it while it lasts, it will pall with time.

Just like how they're cashing in, so are the papers... it's a parasitic relationship. If Harry & Meghan were to fade away and the public interest with it. Where would the money come fron to maintain their lifestyle?
 
I'm sure they'd do just fine, obviously better with all of this fanfare. It's the hit pieces about holding hands or wearing the wrong kind of white thah just seem beyond petty and vindictive.

Edit - case in point. We have a government tearing our nation to shreds but it's these two that are committing treason. Got you.

This unsavoury debacle brings back something my old form master said to us. It was along the lines of if a man marries a woman from well beneath his social class level it often has an unhappy ending as the woman is quietly or even vociferously jealous and feels inadequate with a chip on her shoulder. He could have been thinking of Markle, and it was remarkably true like many of his sage, (if no doubt nowadays politically incorrect), thoughts were. Given a less than worldy wise man like Harry, from a broken home himself, the recipe, as I believe I said here, to some howls of derision, was only bound for trouble and ultimately disaster.

There are many other breakdowns of different things as well, complaints about paintings allegedly hanging in royal buildings which aren't, pictures of houses which have nothing to do with the subject. The whole thing just seems to be made up.

prostituting themselves to netflix could be a flawed strategy, their reputation is for fiction, even oprah has/had more credibility in the USA consciousness, to expose their confessional
(seaspiracy and other netflix non-fictions were exposed as BS)
