So please don't come here being a know all
Why not? You do.

I AM privy to information that you are not but I'm not the one who posts like a know it all...that's purely your scene...

Silly boy.

I know countless times more than you, yet I'm not the one making snap judgements, or in your case, wild assumptions, then spreading them about to anybody who will listen (read).

I prefer to reserve my judgements until I have more solid evidence, not to do so invites foot in mouth disease ;)

Do you enjoy having your tonsils tickled by your toes? :p

Really? even though I have blatantly made it clear that it's all speculation.

Don't blame me for my mistrust of Intel. As for knowing more than me? maybe you do, maybe you don't. I used to run a PC place too, you know.

And during that time I had plenty of experience of the Intel reps coming around offering me engineering samples and free Xeons providing I refused to stock AMD products.

So, as for what I know? I know enough about the industry, thanks. I may not know much about X99 but tbh I don't really care about it.

Maybe we should all just shut up eh? that way no one can say anything about X99. Or, maybe you're just here defending it because you're part of the business?

But you're expecting every one to sit and read whilst you make a fool out of me, yes? hahaha.

I couldn't care. No seriously, I really couldn't care. That's why I joined MLG.

I'm not defending anything, merely pointing out that your assumptions are wildly inaccurate. I haven't even implied whether I believe that the platform is good value for money or not.

But you're expecting every one to sit and read whilst you make a fool out of me, yes? hahaha.
Nope, my posts are aimed at you and you alone simply because you were so vehemently spreading total nonsense.

We don't go in for that sort of thing here and anybody who tries soon finds out that OcUK don't play favourites.

You haven't no. One of your fellow mods did though. Any way, maybe you need to look up the word assumption in the dictionary to see what it means. It's pure speculation, this thread is just that.

Good for you. I hope you feel better now.

SO 8pack you have had play we know that with all the new cpus and stuff coming out soon, is there any new cards to go with those boards that may bring TITANIC performance increase *cough cough* lol
don't trust what he says, he's only played with cherry picked CPUs on cherry picked motherboards with cherry picked memory...spoilt that lad is...spoilt!

lol 8 Pack and OcUK have been a subject of debate on HWBot recently as it is on that very matter. But ya, this is all off topic. Sorry Bart!

Has anyone heard about the sockets? Will these be same fitting as LGA2011? I.e. will my H80i work with an x99 board!?

I shall stick up and defend both Intel and AMD reps here because in my 15 years of being at online etailors and working directly with AMD and Intel when I've requested a sample it has being given with no demands. I've got several Xeons on my desk at work, they just arrive without asking, likewise for AMD samples, they just send them us and they never come with demands. So your experience does not match ours.

Where things differ is opposing big brands will buy marketing space to try and give their opposition little exposure. Again OcUK tries to remain as neutral as possible as we prefer the customer to dictate market share based on good products.
