Haswell -E Core i7-5960X, 5930K, 5820K specifications

Hopefully the performance and overclockability of the Haswell-E is better than we are expecting as a lot of people are assuming the
Haswell-E performance won`t be much better than what's already out and will be slower than the current processors that are out
in gaming and also won't overclock very well because of them being a Haswell.
At the moment we just don't know because no information about the performance and overclockability of these processors
has really appeared yet on the internet.
Fingers crossed they are better than we are expecting, especially when it comes to overclocking.

Very nice to see the forum moderators putting Andy in his place. Maybe if he keeps acting like a child, they will eventually ban him and we can go back to normal around here

i'll be buying my setup from OCUK, I appreciate the effort staff make on forums. Customer service is a big thing in my book. August 29th? Get paid on 31st

That is only one of the reasons why it will be the end of month.
Current 2011 coolers will fit the new socket fine.
That is a relief one less item you have to replace.

Yeah I finally figured that out hehe. The day I get paid too. I've been stocking up on OT, so have a grand tucked away to get the main bits with.
lol I have not even seen that thread. To be honest with the old pro league I had no OCUK support and was top 5 with Andre Yang, Nick, Vince and HiCookie still benching hard. That was with zero support other than the odd mb. The support has helped me no doubt but not as much as certain guys think.
I'm thinking £300-£350 for the 5820k (lanes are so overrated hehe)
I'm wishing £350 for the EVGA Classy X99
£240 for balistix elite 16gb mem (only 16gb for now till faster stuff comes out and will get 32gb)
And hopefully a little left over and put some money towards sli'ing my 780
I'd say about £1250 should so it (fingers crossed)

Essentially Team AU defending joining of resources as the only way to remain competitive against you lol. But then again James does like 90% of the subs for that team anyway!
We already talked about that. 1. They're Haswell but 2. They're soldered. So nobody knows apart from those who have them.
Maybe if some people had actually read my posts properly instead of wading in they would have seen everything this thread has discussed.

1. Be a realist, and not a corporate bumboy.
2. Talk about my experiences with computer parts without being in fear of what resellers I mention.
3. Actually have intelligent conversation with people who don't go around like robots saying "Intel and Nvidia are the best forever and ever amen even their bad products beat AMD's good ones"
Repeat, ad nauseum. I've been banned from here plenty of times. Each time I've just laughed to myself, then gone to another forum.
