Haswell -E Core i7-5960X, 5930K, 5820K specifications

Same fitment. What then? Lack of actual decent RAM kits at launch? lol.

Pretty much, there's going to be more CPU's than their is RAM kits available :p

Although that's likely going to affect smaller E-tailors more. Overclockers look like they've got a fair amount.

I'm gutted there will be no Rampage Gene, that was the best we could have hoped for in mATX.

Where did you see this? I need an mATX board and the gene would have been top of the list! What about MSI or gigabyte. Any news on x99 mATX from them?

Not enough I can tell you. If I do what I've got planned currently I'll be waiting till mid September. I'm tempted to call and change but all the kits in, including the Dom Plats are slow.

I don't really want to be overclocking DIMMS past XMP when I'm overclocking the CPU first off, it's annoying lol.

Yeah, a lot of nay sayers about DDR4 as well

My plan will be to buy the cheapest 16GB DDR4 kit when I make the jump onto X99, then in a couple of years get a nice high end (by then cheaper) kit.

Yep, remember all Andy's post about how DDR4 won't work initially and that it will be insanely expensive and slow. All wrong, surprise surprise.

Eagerly awaiting tomorrow's reviews :)

Why not just pay £220 for the 16GB G.Skill 3000Mhz CL15 kit now? I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Though I do see OCUK has this kit for the lolworthy price of £380.

Do research ... I think a lot of retailers are trying to bait uninformed consumers into paying almost double for some DDR4 kits.
