That much isn't right - as per above would flash bios asap
200~MB is one thing, 8GB is a totally different issue

Have you re-formated? Try your ram in different slots, I'm using 4 x white slots. Registers all 16GB just for some reason doesn't let you use it all
I'm using the rampage 5 extreme, using slots A1 B1 D1 C1 as in the bios for quad channel memory.
It it a clean install too.
Windows activated earlier, i have just restarted and windows needs activating again :/
Have you flashed to the latest bios as suggested?
Just about to now, 0603 is the latest i think.

How'd you fix it bud?
Have moved the memory around to different slots, updated the BIOS and loaded the XMP profile, seems to have stabilized it now
Now for some reason though windows has de-activated itself!
Nice one, is your ram now installed in the light or dark slots?
