38 beans for Generic 4gig DDR4 though, even generic DDR3 4gig sticks cost 32 beans.

I have done fantasy basket shopping with 4790k and 5820k builds for past 2 weeks and can get it down to about £250 difference give or take stuff:)

Mine's now running happy along at 4.5 @1.320, but memory is at default (2133), would be nice to run it higher but it's still early days.

I have decided to swap this UD4 out for the SOC though and rehome the system is a white Luxe.

Same here mate, default 2133 gives stability. Future bios updates should make higher memory speeds more stable.

I'm at 4.0Ghz + 2133 for 24/7 use.

Can one of you with an ASUS board do a favor?

Load CPU-Z twice (motherboard screen and CPU speed screen) visible, run 32M Super-pi and while its on say loop 1 or 2, hit print screen and upload here.

So basically pic of desktop with 2x cpu-z and super pi open and visible and a bit into a run of 32M.

Can peeps with i7 5820K, 5930K and 5960X plz post their highest stable overclocks.

We can get a rough idea of what performance is attainable in a home users PC.

Cheers.

Another thing i've noticed is that my max overclock on my 290X has dropped an awful lot.

from 1270-1280 to around 1200:confused: even with the Blck @100.

That's weird. Wander if the power delivery with the new mobo setup is somehow different. Maybe could effect the max overclock?

My 780Ti max clocks have gone up with this setup. Can finally break 16000 in 3D Mark 11, not sure why it sees my 5820K as a 5960X? If only the Ti's could be voltage unlocked.. It would fly..

I have the same bloody low physics bug with AMD and benchmarks, it's an issue with powerplay, only way to kinda of fix it is enable "without powerplay support in AB.

Only that crashes the system now, at this rate i'll be going green soon.

Could be good timing grab yourself a GTX 980.

Broomstick - Can you add voltages as well, would be helpful for expectations.

Broomstick? No worries Tossi~ :p

If people can post their max stable overclock with what voltage and if it's set or adjustable. That would be good.
