Yep longevity and multiple GPU`s and a bit more memory bandwidth are really what it is about with Haswell-E.
Another question I had for you Haswell-E owners: Are most of you running on air? Or a closed loop water system like the Corsair coolers?

What have you clocked yours to?
Intel recommend AIO water coolers as the minimum cooling required for X99. That's why they didn't even include a hsf in the box.
Because currently the board doesn't set GEN3 by default. I've mentioned it to Raja at ASUS already. It's not exactly a huge issue, just have to make a note to change it when flashing or when starting a new profile.
