Have you ever destroyed any hardware/software purposefully through RAGE!

Broke a few PS1 controllers at various times. Never anything since though dispite raging often at various games. CoD mainly. ^^

It's usually the desk that takes the full brunt of the force tbh.
Oh and the obligatory phone-against-wall-because-of-woman/girlfriend.
 
I hated my evga 680i Motherboard enough that after RMAing several of them decided to not bother with another one and dropped bricks on it in a skip, felt great.
 
A PS2 controller and a couple of mice back in the day but I just swear/shout at stuff now (games).
 
plenty old console pads got the good news over the years, especially the PS1/2 pads, they got a right hammering.
A few mobiles and a couple remote controls, yeah i've smashed up quite a few bits of frustrating tech over the years, but i've calmed down massively as i get older and have found other more effective ways of venting pent up anger and frustration.
 
Slammed down on the PS1, a ball-bearing fell out of the disc spinner, popped it back in. Never hit the thing again. :o
 
Never broken anything due to rage but I did manage to get a CPU back into it's socket with rage and a lump hammer... surprisingly it still worked after i'd put everything else back together although there was the Standard "**** **** I've just killed my CPU" thoughts running through my head until it powered up fine :D
 
This thread reminds me of a strange one.....

I was asked by a chap at a company I was delivering to, if I'd mind driving over his laptop!

I duly complied, his laptop was wrecked and he seemed quite surprised!

Turned out, he'd driven over it a few times in the past with a car, it was a common thing apparently when it crashed! - alas,trucks are much,much heavier than cars! :p

last time I delievered there, the same chap still worked on Goods in...

I wonder what he told them happened to their laptop? :D

I head butted my Gamboy when I was about 8 because I couldn't get past a level on Donkey Kong.

Smashed the LCD screen right up. :(

Since then, the only other thing has been a printer which was thrown out of the window when it refused to print a uni essay the night before a hand-in.
 
Yeah it was along time ago guys,also i would rather take my agression out on something rather than a person or myself.....throwing that amiga and hardrive out the window did feel good though and it felt even better with the hammer!
 
Punched a monitor in a rage about 6 years ago and then again about 4 years ago, never again :p

Got sick of a bluetooth headset that was forever playing up and threw it at a door which broke it.
 
Back in the day when I 1st got my Playstation. Used to twist the controllers when I got annoyed. Made of steel those things were because they took such a hammering of being thrown about and generally abused but they never broke!
 
Punched my MS Keyboard which snapped one of the legs off, other than that I think I tend to just shout a lot.

I think I am sort of lucky in that I am able to assess the value of the thing I am possibly about to destroy before doing it so can stop beforehand it's too expensive :p
