Hayfever seems insane this year

I kept waiting for mine to really kick in, but this year (and last actually) have been very mild. Not sure if it was the beconase nose spray or whether something else has contributed, but I'd say my symptoms have improved by 70%.

I did. Kept waiting for symptoms to kick in, which they did, but nowhere near as bad as 30+ years worth of summers.

Same thing here.
Started taking tablets first week of Feb. And it’s already helping me as the weather has been decent lately.

Not needed to use Beconase yet.

I used to use Beconase but it never seems to be on offer now.

Fexofenadine works for me, brilliant that it's over the counter now (cheaper for a month over the counter than the prescription fee).

I take cetirizine dihydrochloride one a day all through the year. Then I use Avamys through the peak of hay fever season as well.

I hope everyone has started their daily antihistamines already, even if they have yet to get symptoms.

I used to have cortisone injections for hay fever, so is this still something you can try?

Today I have one of those super bad days, had a terrible sleep too. I wish I didn't suffer from any of this

I've been getting it worse and worse the last few years. Today has been really bad.

What are my options for other treatments other than antihistamines? I find Fexofenadine to be the better of the lot but still not perfect.

Been sneezing all day and then I realised it was that time of the year

My eyes have been on fire the last couple of weeks - never struggled this badly with them before.

Generally take Avamys but no tablets to supplement, will have to try loratadine/ cetirizine and see if that helps.
