Hazro - Any Update?

hmm, strange. It's definitely a card/driver/vista issue. Seems like some combinations work whilst others don't.

What version drivers are you running?

You should be, yes. If not, please "email me in trust" (click the "trust" icon in one of my posts for my addy) and I'll see if I can get you my contacts email address.

ok, i WAS using a 7800gt and it had no dpms problem.
I installed a g260 todays and now I see what you mean; instead of turning off like it did yesterday the screen flickers as if its trying to turn off.

rang OC again to day to see if there was an update for delivery and they still have it as no date confirmed, Philjohn looks like your mate was telling porkies!

they must know how many people need the upgrade, they must know how many displays they have, OC are the only retailer so they should know how many (if any) will be left and when OC will have some for sale.

or am i looking at it too simplistically!?!

if they don't know this then they need some help

It could very well be that the entire first shipment is for existing users, they are then waiting on notification of when they can get the next shipment of parts in to construct a second batch. Remember, they're not a huge player and so are pretty far down the pecking order with LG.Philips compared to Nec, Apple and Dell.

i want the 26" but point blank refuse to place an order until there is a date as OC take the money straight away and not on dispatch!!

its a lot of money to fork out with nothing to show for what could be weeks!

Many thanks for showing interest in Hazro monitors. Hazro do not publish input lag figures as it is a relative term i.e. the figure varies depending on the method used for testing. However, the revised HZ24W model will feature a better and faster scaling chip along with a shorter interface cable meaning a faster lag time by up to 10~20%.

good news! Just waiting for my contact to get back to me about if the delivery is still on schedule.

Ok, my contact phoned today and there's good news and a little bad news.

The good news is that they now have the updated monitors in their warranty centre, they come with an updated panel from LG.Philips. My contact said WU3 instead of the older WU2, but the only WU3 I can see is a TN - so I'm sure it's either a new part I cannot find any info on, or my contact has it wrong!

Anyway, the bad news is that those of us who decided the Silver model was sexier have to wait until the 12th of August and, if the new model is decent, will have to put up with people with black models crowing about how good they are!

Edit: I suspect my contact got it wrong and we're getting the new LM240WU4 which is a 102% saturation IPS panel with 5ms G2G response time.

Sorry, that's correct, gamut, my 18 month old was distracting me by playing with the mouse so I wasn't really paying attention to proper vocab!

Have a look at their updated catalog: http://www.lgdisplay.com/homeContain/jsp/eng/common/cmn000_j_e.jsp (click on the "Download Digital Catalogue" button). On page 6 you'll see their current 24" offerings, the S-IPS WU4 and the TN WU3.

edit: looking at it there they call it colour saturation, but it's definitely gamut by looking at the other models showing 72%.
