i have half been dreading making this post and half glad I am making this post.
i bought a totally new rig last thursday from overclockers and spent £1750. Part of that rig was a hazro 24".
Ive been reading this thread from the beginning and really carefully made the decision to buy a hazro. I am from the (36 years old and perhaps more patient than some?) school of life that says engineering and electronics are not perfect and such is life.
We are constantly pushing the boundaries of tech and as such we cannot expect the latest and greatest tech to always be perfect. i have a friend, who bought 2 ferraris in a row. he dosnt have one now. They were very fast and very annoying and plagued with faults. He spent loads on those cars...and had issues. Paying a lot does not gaurantee you a trouble free ride - it simply means you are paying for a logo or you are paying for tech that has gone into making that product.
Anyhow - i have a hazro 24" and i have, since Friday, been using it in an every day capacity: browsing, rebooting a lot (installing a lot of software and hardware), playing games (Crysis, COD 4 etc).
I have not looked deliberately for problems. I have waited to see if something jumps out at me. dead pixels, banding, green snow...aliens.
So far, i can report I have a beautifully crafted, black screen with no obvious dead pixels, no obvious banding, no lag at all 9that i notice) and no green snow. the colors are amazing and vibrant.
my only complaint perhaps would be a very tiny brigter area towards the bottom left corner but not exactly there. its one of those things that you see....look carefully and cant see....then see....then cant see as it is so slight.
Im very happy withb this and happy to answer questions if folks wish a more measured answer rather than a toys out of the pram response when using software to make the monitor do bad things and then moaning it does bad things. Crysis was nothing short of jaw dropping and i saw not a single artefact, issue or problem.
Anyhow...ask away if you want.
