Hazro - Any Update?

I had the flashing lines across the screen too when I got this replacement screen back. Since changing to the other DVI output on my Radeon 4850 not had any snow/corruption/flashing lines whatsoever. Have you tried changing output?

I tried changing to the other output on my parents 4850. It completely got rid of the snow! The white flashing still happens though during blu-ray playback, though less frequently.

Is the white flashing anything to do with 1080p/24fps output from a blu-ray player not syncing properly to a 60Hz refresh rate on the Hazro? Not sure if I'm talking rubbish, but far from all LCD/plasma televisions handle that smoothly and the spec of the Hazro says specifically 60Hz rather than quote a range.

That totally sucks. Mrk is the reason that most of the people here have got Hazro's, thanks to his exhaustive testing and posting of results/pictures. He deserves to be shown a lot more respect.

Precisely ;)
If I were hazro I would reward him handsomely.
He also created a solid demand in the US for the Hazro screens because of his thread on Hardforum ;)

a sale to be split in the MM
What does that mean ? MM ???

MM is Members Market.
If Some one advertises a bundle for sale then its against the rules to ask them to split.
The consequences of breaking rules being a short posting ban.

my hz26wi power brick went yesterday (so I assume) after 7 days. do i contact hazro or overclockers? also, has anyone sent their hz26wi back to hazro?

Your power brick's gone already? Do you use your monitor constantly? Regardless those things should last a long time. I guess you contact Hazro for a replacement. Perhaps you should send it off together with the screen when it's being upgraded and request a new power.

But no I'm still waiting for the signal to return my 26Wi.

i haven't used my monitor that much at all, not even constantly. vienese how are you finding your hz26wi?

someone at work has a eizo screen, it's damn good!

Got my Monaco Optix XR today, shame my monitor isn't here but I'm going to give it a shot on my old display to see how calibrated I can get it. What's the best software for use with it? I heard that EZ-Color is crap.

Hey Rajveer,

Spotted the Optix XR too - what does it come bundled with exactly and is it boxed as new or just OEM?

Wouldn't mind picking one up myself! :D

I'm loving the 26Wi, everything seems fine, no dead pixels, back light uniformity seems ok, luminance is acceptable (until it's lowered), minimal input lag and a nice big work area :) Minor gripe is the heat it emits but it's not as bad as before now. It does make the odd noise inside I guess when components are expanding?

The power brick's have a 0.4% failure rate, mine went in under 2 weeks.

They can just send out a new one if you're happy with the monitor as it is.

Well it's good to be posting again!

Monitor is still rocking btw, I have to say I am very pleased with the adjusted backlight now - recalibrated a few more times to check for consistency and it's now settled on a solid 0.42cd/m2 blackpoint after 10hrs+ of non stop usage.

BTW someone above wanted to see a HD movie photo, I shall use BluRay Matrix again :)

I've not noticed any Snow since getting the monitor back but if I do I will try HDMI and let you guys know my findings.

A little funny thing which I found quite nice was that when I tried the Ergotron arm previously I managed to get the stand off but cracked the plastic sticky faceplate on the stand handle (it covers the screw holes and generally improves appearance of the top).

Anyway Hazro bundled another one with the monitor with a note saying "Spare!". Didn't ask for one but got one anyway, nice of em :)
