**HAZRO HZ27WA & HZ27WC ARRIVING SOON INCLUDING NONE-GLASS VERSIONS!**

Yes the gfx card is fine, i had been using the monitor for about 2 weeks then just done what has been explained. Tested other pcs plus all the other ports using xbox, ps3 etc.

The osd will not even display, so certainly nothing to do with gfx support.
Sorry to hear we both had the same issue. Hope it's not a common problem.

The graphics card is fine at my end also. It can display a max resolution of 2560x1600 (even higher than the Hazro monitor), so it's not a resolution issue.

As you said, I also tried other inputs and devices, PS3 and a different PC, with no luck. The problem seems to be with the monitor in that it cannot detect a signal for some reason.

i had something rather interesting happen to me.. on two separate occasions.. and thought it might be the same thing as whats been happening to you.

When turning on my computer while the screen is on stand-bye, nothing happens.. the screen continues to flash with a blue light.. it does originally flash like its come off stand-bye.. but it looks as though it just goes back.

I kept physically rebooting thinking it would sort itself out [and freaking out just a tad bit i might add] but it didn't.

For some reason i turned the monitor off.. rebooted. turned it on when i was sure i would be by the login screen.. and it came on?

Thought this was just co-incidence.. but i've had to do it again just now when switching my machine on???

Maybe give that a try? see if it works?

Hazro is it possible for the screen to have intermittent problems coming out of stand-bye?

I cant test anything atm as the monitor was returned, im waiting on the courier to deliver the replacement, reckon it will be here Saturday if dpd deliver at the weekend.

I will certainly be keeping a close eye on this one for the first sign of trouble.

Hazro HZ27WA and Italy

Hello there! After reading some very good review over the internet, I was decided to buy an HZ27WA without glass. I am in Italy and it seems I can not find this monitor here in Italy (online or at the shop). So I decided to buy it online from OCUK. This is possible but now... after reading some repeating issues and repetitive problems... I am not sure because if I must resend it back to UK for replacing, a large amount of money is due for shipping, I think without refund from Hazro. Someone knowing Hazro's policy for italian users and italian RMA? Thanks in advance and be patient I am not usual with forums!

Hazro

I hope you are working on a fix for the HDCP compliant problem and NVIDIA Card problem and NVIDIA Control Panel options problem with this screen like the
fact that more or less all of options in the NVIDIA Control Panel are either blank or don't work at all when using this screen.

Fair enough the Hazro H27WC doesn't have a hardware scaler built in but software scaling in the NVIDIA software should have worked without problems but in
most cases it doesn't and so this screens lower resolutions are absolutely useless because if you need to drop the resolution down a bit when gaming in
windows, you get a small screen with massive big black borders all the way round which looks horrible.

I hope you already know about these problems and are looking into it?

I've tried this with mine (they haven't collected it yet), sadly, no luck.

By the way, zypheruk2012 - you mentioned you played it with PS3/360? How's the input lag for gaming? I didn't get the chance to test it since mine only lasted 1 day.

Mine feels pretty responsive, I've only played slower paced FPS games so far so the real test will come when I fire up UT04, but no complaints from me.

Just sold my two old monitors (Iiyama 26" and Samsung 226BW) and both guys that bought them looked at the HZ27WC on my wall and said "Wow, those colors are nice" :D

I felt good :D :(

No BIOS setup

Hi guys, I've got th HZ27WC non-glass, and I am well happy with it ,it's the second one the first one was DOA so I had to swap it for this one.
Only problem I have is when I boot my PC there is no DOS bootup screen and I can't see my motherboard BIOS setup screen.
Also when booting Windows7 there is no display until the login screen.

Why ???.

Cheers

Jezz

I was thinking about getting one of those screens, but after reading all the coments, I will stick to Dell...

Uuuh. That grainy suface... Wouldn't like that one. My WA is great. Great contrast and color, an an absolutely clear image, pure whites.

grainy ? please explain.
I use old 2407 here and thinking of getting 27" now

I upgraded from that exact screen, the hazro is much better. Very happy with my hz27wc variant. The dell looks very dull in comparison tbh. Only thing Im disappointed with is the one dead pixel.

Dull?
Maybe case of brightness etc?
Have to say I like apple 27" but price puts me off ..
WC is with glass?

How and Where did you sell them?

After buying the Hazro, and soon to gen another, I got a LG E2350V & a BenQ EW2420 I need to sell, don't know how or where to start? Don't really want to use Ebay? Does this forum have a seller area?

The dell 27" has a strong antiglare surface, that makes a sort of sparkling or grainy effect in bright areas, most visible in whites. Besides, this sort of surface reduces contrast, as it disperses ambient light. The glossy screen, very good contrast, and uniform whites. Disadvantage: reflections, that oblige to control light conditions in the room (the non-glass version should be a bit better in this respect; I got the glass version).

It is an old debate between antiglare and glossy screens. I had a Phillips 200WP until I bought the Hazro: the Phillips has a slight antiglare surface (MVS-panel; there was an IPS versions, too), graininess wasn't a problem, but comparing the contrast and colors with the Hazro, there is no doubt: I won't go back! I had a look at the Apple Cinema Displays before buying. The Hazro image looks the same, to me!

The WC model has no scaler and only a dvi port. No probs as I only use it as a pc monitor. Its also the cheaper model, bought mine for £375. The screen I bought is without glass but still has a slight gloss sheen to it, but nothing over the top. Overall I would rate it a 8/10. A worthy upgrade to the dell 2407wfp. I had them sat next to each other and the hazro is a clear winner.

The blacks were deeper and the whites were also brighter. Theres a clear contrast difference between both the colours and they exceed what the dell can produce. But then again the dell is quite an old monitor now.
