Help Needed: Skynet CPU challenge

It all helps, I'm crunching on a laptop in the middle of the Indian Ocean so lets get those spare cycles doing something guys. only 4 days to go.

Remember this challenge started 1st October and ends 31st October Many of the stats sites cover activity on the project since inception, not just for the challenge period so some interpretation is needed.

I had my PC running at default 3.7GHz (turbo boost on) clock earlier, anyway I set my overclock settings for 4.8GHz, rebooted and freeze! I was like wtf?

Anyway, it turned out I was unable to boot with the Boinc program automatically running at bootup with my high overclock, so I set to launch Boinc Manager manually, now I can run at 4.8GHz.

Strange anyway lol.

Edit: May as well get phone and tablet involved too as it only works when they are on charge

all this help is brilliant, deffantly going to make th difference to loosing by a little bit or been totally slaughtered lol , or if even more people join in... who knows :p

No Neil, I will not! Actually it does occur to me that her PC is in the bedroom so it will only be able to crunch during the day anyway when she is out. She'll never know.

Glad you're still alive btw, and I hope the op went well :)
 
Seems so mate, got out of jail on friday and the 21 pills a day + tramadol at will seems to be taking the edge off it. ;)
Be back on it at the end of Jan hopefully. In the meantime, looks like I've nothing to do but stalk the forums. :(
