So this supports 60hz without having to combine 2 images and has a better stand while having the same panel as the Samsung, might be worth the extra?
The Samsung monitor also uses one single screen and does not combine two images. The problem with the Samsung is the stand and the lack of VESA mounting holes. The AOC has VESA and a better stand.
How common is this problem with the signal loss? I assume more than 4 people have bought this monitor.
is anyone getting this problem who isn't using SLI?

Wow, Techreport have seriously lost a lot of credibility with me for their monitor reviews. If this guy could barely see any colour shift problems on this monitor he needs his eyes tested.
Right on startup I noticed the seriously washed out colours and colour variations all over the screen. 4K for games is very sharp and if you are used to TN then it is a massive improvement. If you are used to IPS be aware you are taking a substantial hit in IQ.
I ended up going back to one of the more affordable 2560x1440 IPS AOC monitors and the difference in colour accuracy is very noticeable.
The ETA when I pre-ordered was May 30th, so I'm hoping soon!
I am a bit concerned with all the problems people seem to have with it, particularly the drop in quality compared to IPS as that's what my current main monitor is.
I'll post here if it ever arrives and give my impressions compared to my Dell U2713HM.
The thing I'd point out with the black screen is that 4k @60hz is right on the bandwidth capability of current DP versions. Stick it at 30hz and see if you have the same issue maybe? If it is it could be a cable quality issue.
Pre-ordered! Hopefully they'll be back in stock soon and ideally without the signal loss problems!
