Hit & Run!

The penny drops!

For all those baying for blood, what good to society would the custodial punishing of this woman do?

Well it does keep a dangerous driver off the road and makes her realise the consequences of her behaviour and actions

^

It would make an example of her to others. Besides, the punishment isn't about the benefit to society, it's about her facing the consequences for her horrific actions. She deserves to be punished for her disregard of human life and the impact her recklesness will have on that mans life.

This can't be real, surely it's a a viral marketing exercise by "Profusion Custom Cams"?

Can *anyone* find any reference to this incident and the subsequent court appearances and sentencing in the press? The national press would have jumped on this in an instant.

Well nobody can find any news coverage about the incident, also a quote from another website: "To settle the matter, i just got a friend to phone the courts for that area and asked them if they'd heard of such a case. The clerk at the court says they have loads of press enquiry calls about it and there is no truth whatsoever in the story. As i said, viral marketing for Profusion Customs."

Jail time? She needs putting down.

I can imagine in the future most cars will be fitted with this sort of technology and we can hope to see justice being done more frequently. Will drive insurance premiums down too.

Just what I was thinking. Cameras are small and high quality these days, and storage so massive/cheap/small that it would add practically nothing to the cost of a new car. I know, I know......"civil liberrrteeeez"......"1984!!!111"...."where will it end?!" etc, etc.........but what if it was your family member who got run over, as in this video?

Of course, with sentences like the one this woman got, maybe it's not even worth doing

I knew there was something wrong with the dynamic duo in that car following her :)

If its fake then surely they need to be done for getting the woman to drive like that because the car driving like a tit is not fake, maybe the guy getting hit could be produced.

Well, it's clearly not CGI, so if it IS faked they are pretty ****ing numb to be driving like that on busy roads during the day and then upload a video of it onto the Internet.

Edit - and the video was clearly recorded during winter, which is probably why there is nothing else online about it yet.
