Deluxe gets a 3 day headstart, so should start seeing actual players reviews/opinions sometime on the 7th. A video I saw stated that the media reviews will be allowed from the day before the 3 day headstart, so we should start seeing media reviews of the game on the 6th

This is a title where there is a chance that I might want to refund it, so I'll go with the Steam version so that I can refund it if needed. Its a reasonably safe purchase with the refund option because I know that there are other games releasing this month that I will likely want to buy (Returnal, Sons of the Forest, Scars Above) so can always reinvest the refund

The twitch streamers didnt last long but I did manage to watch almost 2 hours of it being played. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, mostly fetch quests and the usual open world style of gameplay but as I like open world games and have a high tolerance for even Ubisoft titles I should be ok with it. Importantly to me, I didnt feel like I was missing out on what I was watching by not knowing Harry Potter stuff, so that bodes well.

Yeah trouble for me was that the footage from Jackfrags was the same 2 hour "slice" of the game that the media/streamers were allowed to play. So it was very heavily controlled by the company bod sat next to them guiding them as to where to go and what to do. The good thing about the german streamer I watched yesterday was that he was playing the actual release of the game and was able to play it without any restrictions, so got to see lots of stuff that WB havent yet shown
