Holy Hell OcUK!!!

Well just confirming what I kinda knew already, it won't go above 3.1GHz, whatever you try its just unstable.

However I am now running 3.1GHz at 1.39v so will try and go a bit lower and see what stability is like

Whip the IHS off, I just took my second one off today, totally incident free, and straight in at 3Ghz stable on my Opteron 146.

Got mine up at running at 3Ghz, stock volts. Played Oblivion for a while, ran 3dmark03, played another game. No problems here. Will push it a bit now, see what it does!

Update on that. Just run 1m Super Pi at 3.24Ghz with 1.45v. I know that's nowhere near stable but it's still impressive. What a chip!!:)

Hi there

Well it looks like the last ever batch is a good one. AMD finishing of single core in style. :)
Were down to only approx 200 left now, they will all probably be gone within a week we suspect and then only the 3700 will be left....

they aint half bad either :p

Age of Empires 3 crashes at 3.1GHz and it isn't stable at 3.2GHz to run Super_PI

Just thinking would it be worth the swap if I could get 3.2GHz + stable?

Not if it was going to cost you a lot, I'm happy with my nice round 3Ghz, though I'll push for more later just to see how far I can go :D
