The moment when you think you’ve explored a fair bit, then look at the size of the map remaining. Think this will keep me busy for a bit.
That would be horrendous. Jumping from 30fps to 60fps would feel terribleWhat they should do is have an option so the game recognises when you are in combat and auto switches to from quality to performance mode

Which skill?I grabbed that skill unlock from the tree right away when I saw it. It does look very cool.
Though the swimming I'm finding very hard to move around.
I really don't like that you can't see what items you need for upgrading gear unless you're at an upgrade station. I'm fine with having to use the station to do the upgrade but it should show you what you need all the time like in the first game.
Feels fine to me so far, of course I can tell its 30fps, am used to 144fps from pc side of gaming.Resolution mode is almost unplayable for me. Feels awful.
Think you're definitely missing out not using performance.

You’ll basically need to hunt a few of every animal you come across and many machine parts. I just kill everything I come across just in case
What difficulty you all playing on? I'm playing on Story on HZD to catch up to the point where I got back in 2017 but I think I'll keep it on there until I finish it. Managed to do 50% in a day.
Normal for me.
Normal but if I'm honest I may need to lower it as this definitely feels harder than HZD on normal.I kill and collect everything I see as well, apart from a Thunderjaw that I came across
Is there a way to set directional machine alerts like HZD? I'm finding that as soon as I alert a machine; the alert icon just sits in the middle of the compass.
Hmm that's a little annoying which is definitely adding to the difficulty! No, they have gone a step backward with that now. You have to scan and tag each machine manually.
Do you know when items go to stash, do those get used for creating or do you have to transfer to your inventory?
Like above I kill everything so got loads of bits in stash.
