Also you can create a "job" at venders and it will give you a quest to find that missing part.

Also good to know what the job thing does (I hadn't thought to even touch it).

Tonight's mission will be to
find the resources I need to get the elemental bow (the one that does little direct damage but can use all elements). Really useful against different robots & combined with High Impact Longbow.
 
I've spend the last few nights dreaming about this after playing it far too long.

I was thinking the same, but then realised the madness of spunking £1500 on new gear for one game!

There is one part that I don't like (a side quest, map filler) because like you stated, a lot of it has been done before such as the following:

Bandit camp's, please how many games have to have these, I find it quite a boring part for a side quest and its like playing Mad Max all over again, the camps look so similar. Clear the camp , take the loot, fill it will friendly people!

Agree, I'm actualy enjoying it more now I have progressed a bit more with the story. Not saying I didn't like it, just wasn't blowing me away but it's rare for that to happen now these days.

I don't have a PC so there are plenty other games to play like Diablo III, Shadow of Mordor, Tomb Raider, Infamous, Resogun all in 4K.
 
Lv36, 50% Completion so far, with 40hrs played and still a lot of sidequests, cauldrons and stuff to do.

Time to go Fox and Raccoon hunting. I refuse to go any further into the main campaign until I get these pouches maxxed out!

Heh! If only. I snuck past 6 Sawtooth to get to that area. There was a herd of those deer looking things? and some Scrappers. As well as a few watchers. Obviously more of those flying things were going about...

2 of the Sawtooth were on the same side further down the valley since one of them came up. Plus what is with some Sawtooth respawning in areas I've already killed them in...


What was frightening when I saw those Snapmaw's in the huge lake. Good grief! Jurassic World.
 
I really liked the first two sections but the desert area looks and feels more rushed? Perhaps as I'm only on a standard ps4.

I've only taken two of those down, one was a little bit special and took some doing!

I've found keeping your distance and knocking off various components first helps.

Some of the head shots on bandits I've had are insane lol, focus won't pick them up.

The War Bow has Ice, Corruption and Shock based arrows.

With just ONE Raccoon skin left for crafting the last remaining pouch - I cheered for glee as I saw the blue loot indicator on a dead critter I just shot....'Animal Talisman Skull' :( Of all the things!

Pro 1080p here. From the menu you can choose either Resolution or Performance. Resolution downsamples to improve visuals, Performance gives you a constant frame rate of 30fps iirc. Can't notice the difference at all so I leave it on Resolution.

Yesssss! Finally! 5hrs this took! I've spent most of the afternoon hunting animals and just taking screenshots all over the place. The engine is just stunning.
