Horizon: Zero Dawn [PS4]

So I've been playing this about a week now, and oh my god it is amazing, I recently completed the Witcher 3 and thought nothing will ever top that..... To my amazement, this game is on par, maybe more? I love the futuristic machines and the tribes, such a cool scenario! I am finding myself gripped by the story, the characters and the land! Very happy with this, ive added it to my must plays.
 
How am I supposed to kill this thunderjaw in the zeta cauldron its mincing me after I override a core pylon.
 
Tearblast arrows are your friend. They can knock off its components, including its weapons. That limits the damage it can do.

For me I then use liberal amount of blast tripwires and precision arrows. Ropecaster might also help.

I was overlevelled for the guy and had a lot of experience with fighting them by the time I got there. It obviously didn't last long. Try doing this - run around benny hill style and tear blast both his shoulder cannons (try and remember where they fall). Once done quickly switch to your ice arrows and freeze the TJ, quickly grab a fallen cannon and unload on him. I'd guess that 8 solid shots whilst it is frozen (freeze amplifies damage) should be enough to down it.

All of this depends on your level and gear load out of course. God I miss this game.

Hmm? Are they the Sawtooths with the strange looking tan camouflage? I haven't faced a corrupt Sawtooth yet but from the others it had to be severely vicious! Has to be.

Ah yes, the Stalkers. I hated those as I wasn't equiped when I went on that mission. As it was an unexpected event. They're crazy fast as well.

 
Well it looks like I'm now in the position to either just complete the game having done all missions, cauldrons, hunting etc. Or do I push for 100% and plat it?

I'm not sure I can be bothered with one or two of the trophy's lol.
 
Did anyone get a Trampler heart without having to trade for it? It's exhausting work killing herds only to get shards and other guff.

I'm back on it after completing it,.

Got some side missions to do, I have no idea how I'm going to cope once I've done everything.

Any DLC planned?
 
I think they're still reveling in how much a hit the game has been. Just taking in all that sweet franchise rewards + cash. They should make a comment soon I'd imagine and I'm hoping Sony put it to them to keep the franchise running in any way.
 
Just come off banging headache. Only done opening hour but Jesus's this is by far most stunning looking game I have ever seen and that's comparing to pc games too. This in 4k is just mind blowing. Also first hour of game is a great opening
