Horizon: Zero Dawn [PS4]

Bloody brilliant game - had some time off sick recently, so treated myself to a copy; couldn't put it down! I think the save game shows time played and I've racked up about 27 hours over 4 days.

Think I'm rank 20 now, got a bunch of purple bows and a purple outfit, loving the style of play, it's a nice open world RPG that just feels easily accessible and not a chore.

I can't help but feel..... that this game would translate VERY well into film form.

Am I the only one ? :D

It would be incredible !

I think it should stay as a Game.....history dictates that Games that are turned into movies are generally awful......and this as a film would be the Triage Love Triangle of Terminator, Jurassic Park and Transformers.

Quick question....

I am at the mission Deep Secrets of he Earth, if I go into he vent can I still complete any side missions and corrupted zones etc? [Spolier]

Yes, it's not the end of the game at that point.

I feel terribly sad that it's all over now. Like it's left an empty hole in my life.

Really enjoyed the game and pleasantly surprised given i had given up on the studio after the mediocre killzone games.

Looking forward to what they can do with a sequel given this was their first attempt of a rpg open world game like this.

One thing that could be improved would be the loot system, weapons/armour variety etc as never once did i get excited to see what drops big enemies would provide.

The story was really good, enjoyed learning and following its progress, side missions could do with a bit more meat but other than that a solid game.

Just finished the main story. As far as I know I got all the side missions done beforehand.

Really glad I got this game. Visually amazing. Good story. Good combat. Good gameplay. Overall a hit :)

I wish that Alloy had managed to find a remaining copy of Apollo and the end was implied that humans would begin to learn the knowledge that had been left for them. To slowly bring themselves out of their primitive state, but hopefully with a bit more wisdom than the ones that came before. I wonder if we'll get any DLC for this game...

One thing I found strange -

This tribe had blue pipes in their skin and Aloy didn't ever question why...

I just realised I have 98% of the trophies. Looking at the list I found the one I didn't get was "Down 23 Grazer Dummies"

Didn't even realise the dummies were important, so I mostly ignored them. Guess I'll go looking for them tomorrow. Shouldn't take much effort to earn that, then I'll have my 2nd platinum :)

For me, the flying ones are the worst. I hate Glinthawks. They're just a nuisance.

I had quite fun with one. I was climbing a steep hill in the snow during night but never saw it. They got into a fight with the masked men. As it was about the spray the freezing stuff I shot the exploding arrow. Between the explosion and the frost explosion it fell to the ground from a great height. One arrow kill and it was dead.

Its becoming ridiculous at level 26 how easier it is to kill the Glinthawks and Thunderjaw.

If there is anything I despise about those Glinthawks is the noise they make. Creeps me out.

Loving the game, more then i thought i would but one one gripe is the lack of a marketplace...the traders sell the same stuff for the same price. Its a small gripe in fairness but if it was more fleshed out it would have been better.

I think im close to the end, can anyone clarify please?

I have got to the madsive bloody bird boss when you climb up the snowy mountain...struggling mind you as ive made a bee line for the story and im level 24 lol. Am i near the end?
