And does Google earth or Live maps not cover Ireland these days ?

I'm not that far from it - and heard nothing about it on either the RTE news or Northern News sites yet...... but I will go with my instinct and say it more than likely did happen - just wasn't reported yet.

Give the guy a break lol I've been ratting/digging on and off on one particular farm for nigh on four years now. I still couldn't tell you what village it was in, and I've driven there dozens of times! I just know "where" it is. And providing the OP is telling the truth (which I have no real reason to doubt) I daresay the last thing on his mind is loading up Google Earth to trace his route for the benefit of OcUK

if i'm honest - this is why i generally stay out of these kind of threads. You get quite a few of them on ocuk and i generally stay away because they are pretty much anonymous and unverifyable.

i dread to think what kind of low-lifes would actually make all this up - they have issues for which i really feel sorry for them.

you'd like to believe the best in people....a naivety that does not survive long nowadays.

but then thats taking it way too seriously - some folk on here do it for the attention and the giggles.

It matters not one jot if Phsycas comes back to give more details or not.

Banging your fists on the keyboard and typing WE MUST HAVE PROOF OR WE DON'T BELIEVE YOU" will not help..
If a thread went in that direction that I had posted, I'd sit back on purpose, watching with glee, as you all tied yourselves up in knots about whether it was true or not.
