EDIT: what are you using for your taskbar? It appears to be split into segments...

(I noticed tint2 0.7 onwards has a built in systray, so no more need for trayer - woo!)

The task bar is indeed split into segments, left one is desktop 1, right is desktop 2. It's default with #! (Crunchbang) and the Openbox WM.

I do have a clock in the tray on the right, but I can't be bothered to find the right config file to edit and make it black text instead of white, hence using Conky to display the date and time.

It may be the default in Crunchbang - but it's not the default for Openbox. Openbox doesn't have a task bar

After a quick google, it appears to be pypanel

Fluxbox is pretty win as well, but has the laziest devs on the planet. I dropped it in favour of OB when it hadn't been updated in a year and a half of so called "active development"

I believe that it's Tint2 and Trayer, although I'm running a version of #! that's a little out of date.
