How do drivers in <Your Town Here> React to Filtering?

Its hard to find a feminine woman that rides, most of the time they're already taken or are either really old... and or butch :p
Well she's not especially old or butch, but my wife is now taken, at least!!

thinking about it, do you really want a woman who rides? Riding, as well as gaming, is my form of escapism at the moment. It's how I spend my me-time. Having my girlfriend intrude on that would just bother me after a while I think. It's MY thing. lol
No-one said you had to ride together... Nothing wrong with each of you going for a blatt on your own!!

But if you're wanting to pick up a chick who likes bikes, one who does ride and therefore understands every nuance you might throw her way would be a FAR better choice... better pillions, usually, too.

2 years without your GF? That's looong...

@wazza300, I already have a mattress to sleep on, I don't need

@Clovis, I probably could, just give her unlimited Maccy D's voucher. :D :p

Brute force could be used...

Just don't do this...

:o :p

Edit: Unfortunately, I don't ride a Kawasaki... so I won't get one of those chicks that wazza300 is surronded by. :p

Range from good to bad everywhere I've been. It's pillocks on phones and glued to sat navs that I usually bump into.

That guy in the video got me a little upset. I would be very upset with him for a while I think.

Filtering on the way home this evening past a long line of traffic, the lights turned to green, so I merged into the nearest gap. The woman who left the gap tried to drive forward quickly, to block me. I got in though. She then proceeded to first drive right by my back wheel, then try to push in to the left of me.

The next set of lights turned red, so I simply merged to the front and left her and her angry little face to stew in the traffic.

Some crazy people out there.

It's going to be tough but we will only be going a few months at a time without seeing one another as she'll be coming home during the half terms and I'll be going out to see her as well. Will be a strain but it is what it is.

I'll be going out for the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix though :)

A fella I know posted this video on our Aprilia owners FB page recently. Watch it until the end, I don't think he intended on this sort of 'filtering' at the roundabout. At 1.33 the car behind hits his bike square up the backside.

I live in a fairly rural area between Thame & Aylesbury just on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire boarder and you get two types of drivers.

1. Those that see you and kindly hug the curb to make it a little easier for you to pass (although I'd much prefer just a larger gap to the car in front).

2. Those that are in their own little world and don't see you filter past them until you're at the window/side mirror.

I have on one occasion on the way to work come across a white van man who saw me slowly filtering. He swerved towards the middle of the road and put his wheels just on/over the central white lines so I couldn't pass. I sat back thinking I'm in no rush. He then put his washer jets on (not very accurate) as they shot over the roof of his combi thing and gave me a pleasant shower. I thought maybe he's just an arse but wow when he held it for 10+ seconds I was like 'enough' and went to pass on the other-side of the road. As I passed I was greeted with a fag flicked out of his window right in front of me.

There wasn't anything coming towards me so he'd have seen me filter all the way up until the round about about 1/4 of a mile haha which to me was enough of a thank you for your wasted efforts.

That was just once though and I've never really had any other issues. Shocking to see some of those youtube videos though. Some people are disgusting!
