I've had 2! Do I win?

I had a red ST2 from new on a 56 plate, did 97k in just under 4 years, it had something wrong with the turbo at 62k which ford refused to do anything about even though it was within 3 years which hurt a bit, not even convinced it was the turbo..

Then spent about 6 moths considering replacements and after looking at imprezas, bmws, audis etc I realised the only reason I was changing was because it was fast approaching (in every sense) 100k so I thought screw it I'll get a low mileage one in the colour I always wanted.

So then I had an orange ST2, I put the Race+ dreamscience map and a new filter on it and it flew, loved that car.

Had to get rid just under a year later because I moved from a fuel card to a fuel allowance and it was going to cripple me :( real shame. I love my 320d but nothing puts a smile on your face like a bit of torque steer and a popping exhaust not to mention having bright orange seats :)

they've got to be getting filthy cheap now? My '07 56 plate with 20k on the clock 1 owner was £10k from a garage a couple of years ago.

You must be getting them down at £7k now surely?

H&R and Bilsteins are essentially the same, in quality terms, heck they are probably made to the same specification with significant commonality between them given the relationship between the companies (my H&Rs have Bilstein logos stamped onto the damper pistons for example). I expect you'd be happy enough with either :)

Anybody know of any decent specialists in the North East, would be great if they were open on a Saturday too. Got my 5 year service due and although it's not bad from Ford (£186), i'd not turn my nose up at paying less :p

If you sign up to STOC and ask in the North East section you'll get a few replies.

I'm going to have to unsubscribe...

I went from an ST2 to a new shape 320d msport coupe and I miss the Focus :(

I'd love to be able to push the boat out and get a bright green RS.

It's times like this (and when I use the mrs' Mini cooper) when I realise I'm an uncurable hot hatch lover.
