On the self service checkouts you can bring a steak to the checkout but instead of scanning it, you just weigh it and say its potatoes or something equally cheap.
There's an easier way, without banking on an encounter with a moron and without eating the crap they sell at Morrison's hot food counter, though it requires eating the crap they sell at tesco's hot food counter. They do 8 nuggets for a quid, but if there's several packs out there's almost always at least one that's got more than 8 in it. I've had up to 11 in a bag, before now. Failing that, take a sandwich to work instead. You fat tub of lard.
But there are people on his forums (MoneySavingExpert)
Who have gone round everything in tesco and worked out which items dont have a price in their database and thus come up at £0.01 at the tesco self checkout.
Theres a massive list on the forums of which items are effected. How do they find this stuff out !!!
Or you could ask for all the nuggets and when they say don't you mean 10 nuggets they will have all the nuggets on their mind and you get all the nuggets.
I've done this twice now and am barred from all Morrisons..
